My name is Paride Pignotti and I’m a 24 Italian Jazz guitarist. I started Playing the guitar when I was 4, thanks to my father, first approaching Rock and Pop Music and after studying classical guitar. At 14, thanks to my harmony and piano teacher i was lucky enough to discover jazz music. My teacher gave me my first jazz record that is “Time on My Hands” by John Scofield and I immediately  started to be interested in musicians like John Coltrane, Pat Metheny, Miles Davis, Jim Hall and many others. At 15 I was admitted at Conservatory of Fermo (Italy) to study Jazz Guitar. In 2014, I graduated at Conservatory with honors and I immediately enrolled in the Conservatory of Rome for a master, which I finished with full marks and honors. During the 2 years master I took part in an Erasmus program in the French Conservatory of Brussel for 6 months. In 2018 I released my first record called “43° Parallelo” with some of the best Italian jazz musicians. This album is a tribute to my home town, which the “43° parallel” passes and  there are 8 tracks (6 original compositions and 2 standard Jazz) . During my career I have had the opportunity to partecipate in many competitions as “Massimo Urbani” contest, “Chicco Bettinardi” contest and won other competitions like “Progetto Air”, that allowed me to live one month in Dakar (Africa) and to play in some Festival of the town with local musicians. I’ve been living in Rome for four years and during this period I had the chance to play with some of the best Italian musicians in Jazz Clubs and to play in important Festivals like “Time In Jazz” directed by Paolo Fresu and many others.
