Paride Pignotti is an Italian guitarist and composer who mix the passion with jazz with the taste of the for Mediterran sounds trough music. During his carrier he collaborated with some of the best italian musicians as Javier Girotto and Nicola Stilo and played in jazz festival as Rome jazz festival, Time in jazz, Bari in jazz, Nice Jazz Festival, Piacenza Jazz Festival, Nuoro Jazz, Fara Music Festival and many others.
In 2018 he recorded his first album called 43 Parallelo, recorded with Seby Burgio on Piano, Alessandro Marzi on Drums, Alberto Fidone on doublebass and as special guest the trumpet player Nate Birkley for Emme Record Label.
In 2020 he recorded his second album called “Acquamarina” with the guitarist Jacopo Schiavo and with Special guest Javier Girotto on sax and Marco Bruno on Acoustic Bass for WOW Record.
In the same years he has been selected to be admitted at master in Contemporary Performance at Berklee music school with a full scholarship in which he had the change to study with some of the best musicians in the world as Danilo Perez, Joel Lovano, John Patitucci, Marco Pignataro, George Garzone, Allan Chase, Terri Lyne Carrington, David Gilmore and so many others.
As a sideman he recorded electric, classic and acoustic guitar for Federica Lipuma quartet for Inner Circle Label by Greg Osby.
He started playing guitar since he was 5 thanks to his father. In 2011 he started studying jazz at conservatory and in 2016, after the bachelor and the master, he graduated with honors in “Jazz” at Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome.
He has been selected as finalists in different contests as “Massimo Urbani” Competition, “Chicco Bettinardi”, “Vittoria Jazz Constest” and he won severals as:
-AIR project in which he had the chance to go for a month in Senegal in an artistic residence to learn Senegalese’s music with Noumoucounda Cissoko, a Kora Player, and playing in the main festivals and clubs in Dakar.
-At Nuoro Jazz” he won a scholarship as best student and he had the opportunity to play in all the principals festival of Sardegna (Italy).
-“6 accordionart festival & contests” he won the first place in jazz section.
